We offer casual or regular solo walks. It's a one-on-one service with your dog so that he/she gets all the attention and time they deserve while out and about walking.
If you work long hours, don’t have the time, perhaps unable to walk your dog due to illness, or you need to go away for work or a holiday, we can help you out and make sure your dog gets the physical exercise and mental stimulation they need.
A regular walking routine allows your dog to explore new smells and sights, providing an opportunity to lower their cortisol levels, making them calmer and more relaxed. This in turn could prevent unwanted destructive behaviour at home, or even assist with separation anxiety.
All our walkers have experience handling dogs and have studied either Certificate II, III, or IV in companion animals, thus have a thorough understanding of dog behaviour and dog body language. Why is this important? So that your walker is on top of any issues and can cater the walk specifically to your dog’s needs.
If your dog has excellent recall skills, then they may be transported to the nearest council-approved “off lead area”. Paws On The Move strictly abides by council regulations in relation to dogs and will only let your dog off the lead if it is safe for your dog, your walker, other dogs and people.
